[Fr Stan Fortuna]

Fr Stan Fortuna

Fr Stan is a Roman Catholic priest and a founding member of the Community of Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, established in the Archdiocese of New York in 1987.  Fr Stan lives in the South Bronx, where the Friars serve the poor and needy families, but he is also internationally known for his music, as well as for his powerful preaching.  Fr. Stan travels extensively, performing his music and proclaiming the Gospel at events all over the world.

His music includes Contemporary Christian, Jazz, Folk, Reggae, Hip-hop and Rap, and caters for all walks of life. His first visit to the UK was at New Dawn in 1994, and has been a regular here ever since.  Fr Stan is most commonly known to many from his appearance in the Youth CaFE 'Plugged in' video resources produced by Catholic Evangelisation Services.

[Rojo] Rónán & Joanne Johnston

Rónán & Joanne Johnston are a married couple with two children; Naoise and Siún.  They live in County Wicklow, Ireland and are long standing friends of New Dawn, having led the youth ministry at the conference several times in years gone by.  They are founder members of the Emmaus Community, a youth community based in Dublin which ran until the late 90's.

Rónán Johnston, also affectionately known as Rojo, has spent much of the past decade in studio producing and writing material for other artists, and for TV, Film and Theatre.  His wife Joanne most commonly provides backing vocals.

[Sr Maria Natella]

Sr Maria Natella

Sr Maria is Dominican Sister of St. Joseph, and loves to preach the Gospel to all ages and all peoples. She is based in Lymington, Hampshire, and heads up Fanning The Flame, which is a Catholic Mission to young people and young adults.

   
[Fr Bob Faricy]

Fr Bob Faricy

Robert Faricy, S.J. is a Jesuit priest and theologian who is an Emeritus Professor of Spirituality lives at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Fr Faricy has written over thirty books, most translated into several languages, and several hundred articles. He frequently ministers in Italy, the United States, Mexico, Ireland, and other countries, speaking at conferences and conventions and giving talks and retreats.

   
[Fr John Bashobora]

Fr John Baptiste Bashobora

Fr John is from Mbarara, Uganda.  He is involved in New Dawn Uganda (launched four years ago), which last year had grown to way over 70,000 attendees! He is also the organiser of the Youth Hallel (Youth Praise) conference in Uganda.

 Fr John has a powerful healing and deliverance ministry, and travels widely. He has attended the last three Walsingham conferences. He helps to care for a great number of orphaned children in Uganda, relying on donations to support them.

   
[Michelle Moran]

Michelle Moran

Michelle, originally from Leeds, is a widely travelled preacher, teacher, trainer, and author. A founder member of the Sion Catholic Community for Evangelism and its Director of Ministry, she has had a great deal of experience working full-time in the Church, both nationally and internationally, over the last 20 years.

Michelle is both the leader of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Service Committee both in the UK and president of the International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services.

   
[Emily Davis]

Emily Davis

Emily currently works for the Catholic Agency to Support Evangelisation (CASE). Emily’s background is in Youth Ministry and Evangelism, an includes mission experience in Ghana, several years as a member of Sion Catholic Community for Evangelism and work with the Catholic Evangelisation Services (CaFE team).  

   
[Steve Murray]

Steve Murray

Steve is the founder of Behold Mime Ministry; bringing the Christian message through the awesome and inspiring art form of music and mime.  He is based in Chelmsford in Essex, and is married with two children.

   
[Andrew Fava]

Andrew Fava

Andrew is a member of Cor et Lumen Christi Community and is lives at Wigton in Cumbria.  Andrew is a very prayerful man who has a charism in prayer ministry and in facilitating people to be empowered with spiritual gifts.
 

   
[Fr Angelus]

Fr Angelus

Fr Angelus Marie CFR, originally from the USA, is a Franciscan Friar of the Renewal.  He is based in Canning town in the East-end of London.  He is known for his speaking, prayer ministry and devotion to the Eucharist and the Blessed Virgin Mary.

   
[Kaye Smith]

Kaye Smith

Kaye Smith is in her twenties.  She works for SPUC Scotland and is involved in youth outreach work.  Kaye also leads the Cross Streams @ New Dawn 11-14s age stream, and choreographs liturgical dance.
